Applications
Chem-Pruf® combines the exterior construction of their standard door with a completely non-organic interior to manufacture a door that can withstand even the harshest disinfectants and cleaning agents. Seamless in design and easy to clean makes this door perfect for pharmaceutical, food, or any application where aesthetics, durability, and hygiene are a major concern.
Technical Information
Chem-Pruf® no wood doors are manufactured of fiberglass reinforced plastic and have a fiberglass content of 25-30% by weight. The fiberglass laminate consists of a 25-mil gel coat applied to the mold surface. This gel coat layer is the first line of defense against chemical attack and is available in all colors. Layers of glass mat and roving, saturated with resins, complete the laminate. The plates and collar of the door are one homogenous and engineered resin system, incorporating chemical and physical bonding.
Bottom Note:
The use of fire-construction materials, such as Firestop and mineral
core, does not qualify a no-wood construction door as fire-rated.
